Terms and Conditions: Motorsport Photography Competition

Promoter: Rising Talent Academy (“the Academy”)

1. INTRODUCTION

By submitting an entry to the "Motorsport Photography Competition" (the "Competition"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the Entrant and Rising Talent Academy.

2. ELIGIBILITY

  • 2.1. The Competition is open to residents of all countries.

  • 2.2. There is no age limit for entry; however, entrants under the age of 13 must ensure they have parental or guardian consent before submission.

  • 2.3. No purchase or payment of any kind is required to enter or win.

3. THE SUBMISSION PERIOD

  • 3.1. The Competition cycles weekly.

  • 3.2.Opening Time: Each Monday at 00:00 BST.

  • 3.3.Closing Time: Each Thursday at 23:59 BST.

  • 3.4. Any entries received after the Closing Time will be considered for the following week’s cycle at the Promoter’s sole discretion.

4. JUDGING AND SELECTION PROCESS

  • 4.1. This is a skill-based competition. Winners are not selected by chance.

  • 4.2.The Panel: All valid entries will be reviewed and judged by the Academy’s Editorial Board, consisting of:

    • Antony Junior Dyson (Head of Journalism)

    • Bethany Heath (Official Advisor)

    • Becca Wilcock-Mead (Founder)

  • 4.3.Criteria: Entries will be assessed based on artistic creativity, technical composition, and storytelling impact relative to the world of motorsport and talent development.

  • 4.4. The decision of the judging panel is final. No appeals or correspondence will be entered into.

5. THE PRIZE (EDITORIAL FEATURE)

  • 5.1. The winning entrant(s) will receive a feature in the Rising Talent Academy Friday Newsletter and a dedicated post on the Academy’s official social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and the Website).

  • 5.2.No Physical Prize: There is no cash prize, physical trophy, or alternative award. The prize consists entirely of professional editorial exposure.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

  • 6.1. Ownership: The Entrant retains full copyright ownership of their submitted image.

  • 6.2. License: By entering, the Entrant grants Rising Talent Academy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to edit, publish, and use each entry in any and all media (including social media, website, and print) for editorial and promotional purposes.

  • 6.3. Credit: The Academy agrees to credit the photographer by name and/or social media handle wherever the image is featured.

7. WARRANTIES AND REPRESENTATIONS

By entering, you warrant and represent that:

  • 7.1. The photograph is your own original work.

  • 7.2. You own the copyright and any other intellectual property rights to the image.

  • 7.3. You have obtained the express permission of any identifiable persons featured in the image for its publication.

  • 7.4. The image does not violate the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.

8. DATA PROTECTION

Any personal data submitted (Name, Email, Social Media Handle) will be processed in accordance with the Rising Talent Academy Privacy Policy. Data will be used for the administration of the competition and, where opted-in, for our weekly newsletter distribution.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Academy is not responsible for any technical malfunctions, lost entries, or unauthorized use of images by third parties once published on social media.
